Microsoft Application Certification packages are digitally signed to protect against illegal changes after release. After the start of this stage, you will not be able to cancel sending or change the release date.

For new applications and updates that include changes to application packages, the publishing process will be completed within 24 hours. For updates, only changing settings such as Store information list, but not application packages, the publishing process will take less than one hour.

While the application is at the publication stage,  the application allows you to find out when new packages and Store information are available to customers on all supported OS versions. Actions that have not yet been completed will be marked with message . The application will remain in the publishing phase until the process is completed, which means that new packages and / or list information are available to all potential customers of your application.
